Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray, rest, and spend time with the Father. These retreats follow that same pattern. We intentionally step away from our busy schedules to enjoy God's creation, strengthen our faith, encourage one another, and return home refreshed and better equipped to serve our families, churches, and communities.

Our monthly RV Retreats at Woodland Trails Campground in Sussex, New Jersey are designed to provide a relaxed environment where people can slow down, enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and grow in their faith.

Whether you stay for a few hours or spend the entire retreat with us, everyone is welcome.

Evening Bible Study & Bonfire

Everyone is invited to join us each retreat for our evening Bible Study around the campfire.

Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

There is no charge to attend the evening Bible Study and Bonfire.

Donations toward the ministry are always appreciated but never expected.

Day Pass

Visitors joining us during the day can purchase a Woodland Trails Day Pass for $15.

The day pass provides access to Woodland Trails and its recreational amenities while spending the day with the retreat group.

Bible Study

Coed Study for all ages

We are proud to be presenting our first organized Ministry Bible study series. This event will be held every other Wednesday from 6:30- 8:30 pm starting July 8th. The study will be open to any age or gender, so long as they are able to maintain the integrity of the study.

The study is open to Christians of all walks and all levels. This is not tied to a specific denomination and will not be a deeply theological study. It is designed to help curious Christians of all stages of their walk to better understand basic Biblical principals

Life Application principals pulled from the bible

This study will be designed to apply basic biblical principles to everyday life. Rather than dissecting the bible book by book, we will take general principalities that we all struggle with and learn how the bible teaches us to deal with them.

We will use biblical and historical facts to try and help you "see" the bigger picture of Gods ultimate plan through the generations.

Open to All

We are not limiting this study to just Christians but will be focusing on Christian Principals and belief's. It is not a debate platform, but will delve into Apologetic techniques for defending the Gospel of Jesus in your everyday walk.

The study will be held at the cozy Spagnazi's Catering at 1572 Route 23 North, Butler NJ

There is plenty of parking with easy access to RT 23 North and South.

Living Like a King – Seminar Outline

Living Like a King is a 3-part comprehensive Service and Discipleship seminar Hosted by The Bethel Assembly of God church in Newark NJ, targeted at Christians who are hungry to become who they are in Christ by learning to apply their giftings and callings in life to fulfill their purpose in God’s Kingdom.

Each day of the series will fill you with new ideas and challenges that will be shared in the session to follow. And each day will address different challenges in ministry, as well as showing you ways and techniques to “seek Him in all that you do”.

This will not be a “one and done” single day seminar that tells you what to do yet not how to do it. Each full day session will focus on different aspects of growing, serving and teaching about God through fellowship, team building and everyday life hacks that will make it easier to find where you belong.

Sessions will be filled with moving testimonies, guest speakers and a powerful sermon along with praise & worship, a hot catered lunch and teaching topics on the essential steps for walking in the Spirit.

Day 1

Day 1 will cover detailed talks about everyday challenges like “how to pray”, “what is meditation”, “how to make time for God”, and more.

This will lead into discovering who you are in Christ and team building exercises to learn how to operate in the Spirit with other warriors. You’ll leave the first day with a challenge to serve and a goal to come back with testimony to share.

Day 2

will include testimony of growth and accomplishment since Day 1, then focus on the challenges of the spiritual attacks that will come as you engage in growing in your Spirit. Includes real world topics and situations, and how to deal with them Righteously. The second day will challenge you with starting a ministry group while learning to be led by the Spirit.

Day 3

Day 3 will include more powerful testimony, then focus on the essentials of leading others to Christ. Evangelizing and sharing the truth of the Gospel is an essential part of any Christian’s walk. Learn ways to feel comfortable talking to friends, family and even perfect strangers about Jesus. The third day will include lessons on how to teach, as well as small group “mock” scenarios with non-believers and new age beliefs while learning ways to use the Word of God to defend your Faith.

Who we are targeting:

We are seeking Christians who are hungry to serve and do more than just stay within the walls of a building; individuals who know there is more to who they are in Christ and are eager to learn from & with other like-minded Christians in a safe, welcoming environment.

The Seminar is open to men and women (ages 16 and over) who know the Lord, and want to commit to a process of changing your life to learn who you are in Him. Are you willing to create new habits and routines for one year and watch God work and change your life? Then this is the seminar for you!

There are limited slots for this first-of-its-kind series, so please register and a Sheep-2-Shepherds leader will confirm your place in the conference. And due to limited spacing, we ask that you only apply if you plan to attend all three dates and are serious about wanting to grow in your faith and service to God.
