Living Like a King is a 3-part comprehensive Service and Discipleship seminar Hosted by The Bethel Assembly of God church in Newark NJ,  targeted at Christians who are hungry to become who they are in Christ by learning to apply their giftings and callings in life to fulfill their purpose in God’s Kingdom.

Each day of the series will fill you with new ideas and challenges that will be shared in the session to follow. And each day will address different challenges in ministry, as well as showing you ways and techniques to “seek Him in all that you do”.

This will not be a “one and done” single day seminar that tells you what to do yet not how to do it. Each full day session will focus on different aspects of growing, serving and teaching about God through fellowship, team building and everyday life hacks that will make it easier to find where you belong.

Sessions will be filled with moving testimonies, guest speakers and a powerful sermon along with praise & worship, a hot catered lunch and teaching topics on the essential steps for walking in the Spirit.

Day 1 will cover detailed talks about everyday challenges like “how to pray”, “what is meditation”, “how to make time for God”, and more.

This will lead into discovering who you are in Christ and team building exercises to learn how to operate in the Spirit with other warriors. You’ll leave the first day with a challenge to serve and a goal to come back with testimony to share.

will include testimony of growth and accomplishment since Day 1, then focus on the challenges of the spiritual attacks that will come as you engage in growing in your Spirit. Includes real world topics and situations, and how to deal with them Righteously. The second day will challenge you with starting a ministry group while learning to be led by the Spirit.

Day 3 will include more powerful testimony, then focus on the essentials of leading others to Christ. Evangelizing and sharing the truth of the Gospel is an essential part of any Christian’s walk. Learn ways to feel comfortable talking to friends, family and even perfect strangers about Jesus. The third day will include lessons on how to teach, as well as small group “mock” scenarios with non-believers and new age beliefs while learning ways to use the Word of God to defend your Faith.

We are seeking Christians who are hungry to serve and do more than just stay within the walls of a building; individuals who know there is more to who they are in Christ and are eager to learn from & with other like-minded Christians in a safe, welcoming environment.

The Seminar is open to men and women (ages 16 and over) who know the Lord, and want to commit to a process of changing your life to learn who you are in Him. Are you willing to create new habits and routines for one year and watch God work and change your life? Then this is the seminar for you!
